nov 16-22 winter fine art & antiques fair olympia | london united kingdom
olympia can be so confusing! even though it is held at the same venue, the winter fine art & antiques fair olympia, aka 'winter olympia', is no longer affiliated with LIFAF, aka 'summer olympia', because it is now managed by by a different organizer. 'winter olympia' traditionally attracted more members of the british antiques dealer's association (BADA), who often exhibited at the BADA fair in the spring and at the, now cancelled, grosvenor house art & antiques fair in the summer. so, 'winter olympia' was often more classical than 'summer olympia' because it featured more fine english furniture. even so, many american interior designers (including moi!) consider both 'winter olympia' and 'summer olympia' vip events.
