at the lee jofa fabric showroom, suzanne rheinstein, a los angeles interior designer and the proprietor of hollyhock, a home furnishings store, signed copies of her book, 'at home: a style for today with things from the past'. the cover of the book features suzanne's gorgeous grisaille apartment in new york, which was also featured on the cover of ELLE DECOR magazine in november 2010.

following a presentation at the new fabricut fabric showroom, virginia interior designer barry dixon signed copies of his first book, 'barry dixon interiors'.

barry's second book, 'barry dixon inspirations', will be released on 1 june 2011. for barry, 'inspiration through the window' is an important part of the design process. so, he often selects colors and materials for his interior design projects that bring the outside inside.
barry also 'loves odd color palettes', which is reflected his designs for the new barry dixon fabric and trimming collection by vervain.
